I just recieved my mirrors from brown Santa today. It's too cold to take my doors off and put them on my Jeep, but I assembled them. The fit and finish is factory and the mirrors are actually usable. They are miles above the Lange trail mirrors I had for my JK. I'm looking forward to trying them out.

Thanks for posting these pics. It's a much better visual than the single picture I've found so far showing it connected to the light bracket.

Do you have any other pics of them mounted? Also, any concern that someone could easily remove them to steal or are they well secured. Expensive mirrors...
Thanks!

I haven't mounted them. We just had 14 inches of slushy snow in a blizzard where I live and March is not the month to take the hard top and doors off, the weather changes in an instant and it still gets too cold. They mount in the hinge bracket and the cowl. They don't have a locking nut or anything so I suppose someone with the right tools could take them off.

The doors open less than 90 degrees (if limiting strap is connected) So if the mirrors are set back slightly it won't interfere with the doors. This is how the new bronco has them. Also the bronco doesn't have the metal surround on the window so all you have to do is roll down the windows and and you have half doors.

IMAGINE something from the factory that would be street legal with doors off & you have full / half doors from the factory.......

I think jeep will tweak things on the JL so they stay competitive but next redesign we will see some major changes.
Competition is always good for the consumer.
I think that next redesign may come sooner that the normal 8-10 year cycle. My cousin has a VERY old Isuzu Trooper. The back seats fold flat in that. I can happily do manual but is being able to shift into 4 wheel low electronically too much to ask?

I'll play devils advocate

Is pulling a lever 7" to reliably engage 4 low every time too much to ask?

It's been in the high 70s the last couple days. Here are pictures of how they mount for anyone who wants to see.

I took them up to 60 mph in a test drive, nothing long distance yet. They are stable and usable. I'm happy with them for on road driving, off road will be seen at a later date.

i'm a little confused.. can these replace the mirrors that were on your doors, so you can just take your doors off anytime and these mirrors remain?

No, these mirrors use the top hinge. They are just for when you take the doors off.

Absolutely outstanding pictures! Thank you. This takes any doubt on how well built and sturdy these mirrors are. Any chance you could post the mopar part number

Outstanding post! Thanks for taking the time to take all of those pics. Really gives us a great idea as how these look and mount.

Any chance you could share the Mopar Part Number you ordered?

I think there are few different part numbers as some of them indicate they are mounts only and don't include the mirrors.

Your kit was complete with the mirrors so that your door mounted factory mirrors stay on the doors when you removed them. Correct? Most of us haver powered mirrors so I assume this is the case.
Thank in advance Sarge!

Yes, mine came as a complete kit. My door mirrors are powered and heated, I didn't want to mess with them. The part number for this kit is 82215331AB.

It costs approximately $500 to put a single exterior mirror on a Honda Accord.
Thx for sharing the additional pic. Bam wholesale parts in OH is $235. Bought from them before. Quick and reputable.

Good quality 3rd party is $150-$160. These are big, well designed mirrors to which YES... U are paying the Jeep premium but I don't think it's completely out of line if u aren't paying the $295 mrsp.

OEM is always more expensive.

I assume you added the round wide angle mirrors? Mine didn’t come with those.
