I think we are all better off trimming the mat "funnel" a bit and then snapping the drain plug in place as if the mat was never there. Thats what I'm planning on doing.

I both those un ter the name Xbeet. Some body recycle the faulty mats. Be aware.
I just had my Jeep and had a frontal collision, and it was in the garage for a month.
Can’t return them any more. Here is what i did in photo:

I did the same, since I don’t really rinse my mats while they are in the jeep or i can simply pull them out of the jeep if there is a decent amount of water in them, I just cut them as flush as possible to the cap. The mopar mats are really nice and good quality btw
