Ok so, I was finally able to install this today in my garage.

All went well, although it took me and a buddy about 8 hours to complete. We ran into a few issues removing the originally installed spacer lift.

Also, the front bump stops were unbelievably difficult to tighten, to the point that I had to run to Autozone and buy some straps to hold it down as I tightened.

I am using the RK front pads, and as you can see, there is very minimal bow.

Once I get it aligned I’ll update the ride quality. I definitely gained more height than with the 2.5” spacer kit.

I just installed mine last night as well. The front passenger side bump stops were an absolute PIA to install. Jeep Mopar could have done a better job with this design. I had to remove the silver metal bracket holding wires which was located below the metal spring platform in order to get a 13 mm socket under the platform to tighten the nut. Oh yea, that bump stop spins too and you can't get a grip on it so I had to grab onto it with a "C" clamp to provide counter force as I ratcheted underneath the metal coil spring platform. I don't know about you but I found the Mopar directions to be absolutely worthless. They were just useless diagrams like Ikea assembly instructions that just didn't make sense.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the paper directions, so I used the CJ Pony video which was pretty spot on, minus a few skipped steps.

Can you please compare the performance of the Mopar lift vs the RC 2.5 lift? It just so happens that I am trying to decide between the two. Thanks!

Yes, once I can take it off-road I will. Road manners so far are smoother and more responsive.

Quality between the two are night and day, especiallly with the sway bar end links. But again, that’s one of the many differences between a $179 kit and a $1400 kit.

Thanks! I should have been more specific in my request. I was mostly referring to road manners. It seems the Mopar lift was designed for those wanting to run larger tires, and would therefore be optimized for heavier-than-stock unsprung weight. I am also VERY interested in the off-road performance comparisons. That said, my rig is a daily driver and I want to maintain road manners as close to stock as possible.

So far so good, but still premature. I’ll update.

Is there a separate set of springs for the front and for the rear; or, are there four different springs for each corner?
Also, what wheels are those?

Ok.... So, on road....MUCH better than my spacer kit. I should also note that I’m running at 30 PSI.

Went off road today-Absolutely flawless. Ran the same trail that I did in Big Bear a while back, which was with a JK 3.5” lift on 35’s.

Today was the 2” lift with 37’s, and I felt more stable than ever. Had it tilted at 23 degrees to the passenger side, and couldn’t have been happier.

The RK spring pads worked perfect btw...

Ditto on the bump stop installation... WTF. Had to tape the nut into a flex closed wrench and kinda have someone else feel around and spin it in. Damn. Just got it all properly torqued today w/ the KO2s and will be going to Rausch for some easy trails Sat to check it out. Eager to get back to Chaos in WV and do the same trails i did w/ the stock rig in May.

TIP- ditch the front bump stop nuts that they supply in the kit and use a normal nut with a lock washer. Also chase the threads before installing. Super easy!
