Still thrilled with our new JLU. Custom order, we picked it up on Monday. Took the train 100 miles down the Cali coast to pick it up and loved the drive home. LA traffic helped keep the speeds down and made for a perfect first 160-ish miles. (Test drive around Dana Point, roamed around a bit to find dinner, and it had 24 on the odo when we got it, then the 112 to home.)

Grabbed some moody shots this afternoon by the rock on PCH1, a few minutes from home. Still can’t stop staring at this rig! I’m constantly checking my ring cam over the garage to spy on it! :giggle:

I thought these were made in Mexico and owned by an italian company.
Wrong. Made in Toledo Ohio, by almost solely Americans. Sure, some components are made elsewhere, but it is assembled in USA. And as or ownership, yes, an Italian-American holding company controls about 44% of the company - a larger share percentage than any other single shareholder. But like any other publicly held company, it can be owned by anyone anywhere...

You've never looked at your window sticker have you? 21% of the Jeep is Mexican made to include the engine.

I'd just like to add that Mexico gave us Selma Hayek...so they can bring me 21% of my Jeep anytime!!! *Note the Firecracker Red dress... ;)
