Thank you guys!! I’m so loving my Jeep! And my family is too!
Here are some photos from my inagural weekend up in Sedona. Had a blast and even took a long detour trail ride on the way home.
Here are some pics from Sedona, second shot is me coming down Devils Staircase.

Here is my mud laden Jeep and a shot at the scenery on the “road less traveled”.

Sadly the mud was full of rocks that scratched the heck out of my new Jeep...but I got it wrapped this week so it’ll be a few years until I see my scratched paint and I’ll deal with it then. :(.

Putting that wrap over black, looks real striking. With the hinges, handles, fenders being black & the body & top wrapped, it looks really cool! Granted, not what I would do, but it does look cool. Good to see you using the Jeep on trails & having fun adventures. It is a real family fun, for sure.

What color is the wrap?
I just have to know.

Nice wrap! You’ve got a real head turner on your hands now.

You can remove the pieces on the back of the front bumper, the part you are rubbing. The fog lights will be fine as well.
Thanks! That’s what we did and it’s all good now. I want a new bumper, but have to wait until there is some money again ;).

Thanks! Yes, I like the contrast a lot, kind of toughens up the Tiffany blue a little bit ;). It’s called Satin Key West from 3M. My husband kinda wishes it was a different color and looks forward to it’s eventual return to black...but he’s being very supportive! :)

So, we tried to put on some slider/steps - Barricade ones, which I was really excited about. Unfortunately, they attach at the body bolt and dh broke the driver side one while trying to get it out. Sooooo frustrating! I know, now, that it’s a pretty common problem but am still upset. Seriously? That red loctite is no joke! So, Extreme Terrain was very gracious and allowed us to return them, and I’m waiting to hear from the dealer if they’ll fix it for me. Sigh. Poor dh, trying to help me out and now he’s all mad.

Here’s the bolt...half still in the Jeep. That loctite seems to come pretty far down the bolt!

Satin Key West, it is cool!

Arg, I hate to see the body bolt lock-tite striking again. A friend of mine did the same thing, we researched, after the break of course, & it sure seems to be a common incident with the JL. It appears you really have to heat those bolts good to loosen the lock-tite. Glad I know now before I get my JLUR, but my friend got caught.

Fortunately, one of the dealerships here near us does a lot of aftermarket installs. They fixed the bolt for free & put his LOD sliders on, for a minimum fee, which he didn't mind paying since they fixed the body mount bolt for free.

Hope you are able to get it fixed soon!

Thanks! I also researched it AFTER breaking it.
I took it to my dealer and they told me to just to leave the broken bolt in there. They had one that had to go to th body shop to be drilled out and it cost a fortune. They reassured me, repeatedly, that it would be fine I’m still not fully convinced but have left it for now. I wish I lived near you, I’d love to patronize that dealership!

Thanks! The wrap was $2500. I got several quotes, $3000-3500 was popular. It was a definite splurge. But I love it!

So I’ve done a few things to my Jeep...
Got some Rubicon take off rails from a kind forum member and they look good on my rig. That unfinished section with all the holes looked unfinished. I got to break them in on a trail last weekend!

And I got my custom license plate finally! I love it! Route 66 theme fits well and I have been enjoying my off roading!
