basically what i do is pull the inner strands out an inch or so, cut them off, then pull the jacket back up. this way you can burn that end and get a nice clean flat end piece.I then use that end to start, and wrap around it so that its completely hidden. to finish the other end i do something similar where try and wrap till the end, loosen a bit then slide the end under 2-3 loops. i then carefully burn that end too so it melts into the cord around it. you have to be careful here, it will blacken the cord quickly, and you want to keep the ends smooth and soft. i will post a few pics so you get an idea.
I just completed doing mine like this and your instructions made it so much easier! Thanks a grand!

I would like to add a little helper tip. I used a soldering iron to melt the paracord with. My iron is the pistol grip and I used the flat tip and used it to cut the cord also. Took my time when trimming the excess off and got it almost even with the rest.

Green came out little darker than the mojito but easy fix later.

I have a confession to make. I had instant buyers remorse from the day after I placed the order for Mojito until I saw my rubi in person. I didn't tell my wife what color I ordered and it was too late when I tried to change in 72 hrs after the order went in(allegedly). Granite was the change I wanted for 28 days.... BUT when it showed up, it was exactly what I hoped it would be. No regrets here.

I agonized for a few weeks over Ocean Blue or Mojito!. I finally settled on Mojito! and agonized until I picked it up about a month later. I would have been fine with Ocean Blue but I really like the Mojito!.
