One more test fit in the winch to measure cables, figured they be to short since they just barely reached on my JK

I was just looking around trying to find a spray can of Mojito! touch up paint and it looks like it is out of stock. I found it at RockAuto and when I went to add it to my cart, it wouldn't let me. I hope they aren't discontinuing it. I guess I'll have to check with my local dealer.

Got my new 2018 JLU Sport on 2/21/19 so I’m a bit late to the Mojito! party...

Mine is the “poverty spec” JLU - absolute base, zero options. For me, this has the right mix of old school (crank windows, manual transmission, etc.) and digital tech (Bluetooth, backup cam,etc.). That said, the Mojito! paint was the final piece to really seal the deal - an identical spec JLU in Hella Yella just didn’t do it for me.

The plan is to stay fairly close to stock with just a few minor upgrades:
Mopar rubber mats installed last night (cargo mat kit on back order)
Also done last night, those euro fillers are cut off the front bumper - European pedestrians beware!
Bushwacker sill/rocker covers are waiting on a warmer day to get stuck on
Adding a sattelite radio antenna for the head unit I swap between vehicles is also waiting on warmer weather
May consider take-off wheels when it’s time to replace tires

Traded a C5 Corvette for the JLU; I’m enjoying the contrast in driving experience and not being afraid of speed bumps anymore.

Gotta be a little bit of a shock going from your previous ride to a Jeep. At least you can still go topless

The biggest shock was the seat elevation difference - see pic #1

The ‘vette was showing it’s age so I was ready for a change. Right out of the box, both the ‘vette and JLU are pretty good at doing what they are built for. I like a vehicle that focuses on a purpose - and has a ragtop!

Installed some Carolina Metal Masters Mirrors over the weekend. Posted the Install video on my YouTube Channel too. These are a bit expensive, but worth it.
