So I ordered my JLUR on July 10th and it showed up to the dealership on Aug 2nd. I was super stoked to get it so quickly and the color is amazing. Just curious if anyone had issues with their paint. This is a pic from my roll bar after I took the hardtop off. I also had a spot on the hardtop. Needless to say I took it back and Jeep is building me another one, but just trying to see if this is an issue or just a fluke . I really hope this next one is better and I hate having to go through the wait again .

I had some very minor flaws in my paint. Nothing to write home about. Think you just had some bad luck.

Pretty sure the bright metallics show imperfections easier than most neutral colors. A couple very minor flecks or particulates which appear to have happened during spray. They are in very unnoticeable locations. But you’re pics show some pretty unsightly orange peel.

Good on you for having them make it right. And very solid of FCA to build you a new one. The wait sucks as we all know, but you’d probably regret it down the line had you have not brought it up. I certainly wouldn’t accept that shade tree looking job on a brand new finish.

Got the lights all wired up and finished. Pretty happy with the output and very minimal glare off the hood at night. Besides a flood for the winch/bull bar, I think I’m good.

I’ll have to take some better pics at night from POV and show the wiring for the aux switches.

What are your backspacing and offset on your wheels? I also have the 37x13.5r17 cooper stt pros waiting on my ordered Jeep and I was wondering how my xhd wheels will stick out compared to yours. Can you please take a front fender shot when you have the chance so I can see how far they go out past the fenders? How many inches would you say? Thanks in advance.

Hi all! I’ve been MIA since the day The Green Beast arrived (after a 116 day wait)- all hell broke loose in RL and then it was time for my vacation to Moab!!! I think I’m the first Mojito! in Moab!?!

My custom decals arrived during my vacation, I’ll post pics as soon as I get them on. Here’s some pics :) I’m a relative n00b to off-roading so nothing too hardcore... And for the record, I did, in fact, realize that taking the top down in the Canyonlands was a rookie mistake. So. Much. Red. Dust. Spent well over an hour cleaning it out later that night! Oh well, it was freaking fun!

Hope you are all fantastic!!

31 days exactly. Another Mojito! is spotted for the first time in Oregon. You’ll have to look closely to the center below the big “C”.

Lol you think this crew needs to look closely for that?! We could spot that a mile away

Just ordered a sunshade. I have a soft too but been keeping it up with windows out. Decided I need a little shade but want the top down. Getting it on Wednesday on which of course it is suppose to rain. Once it is on, rainy days and winter may be the only times my top is up. So excited.
I bought the alien shade before I headed out for Moab. So glad I did!! But the back two bungees were too short, had to hit Lowe’s to buy longer ones. Love the shade tho.

Wheels are KMC XD229’s w/ 3.5” backspacing -38mm offset. The protrude 5”+/- with the Coopers. Measured from the top of the fender flare to outermost tread.

Late night pics. Second pic is from square behind the tire. I’ll grab a nice straight-on daylight pic tomorrow for ya. :like:

You literally got me sold on mojito. I had an original order on a granite turbo rubicon, however when the order banks open up on the 13th of September I will order the green turbo rubicon instead with the painted fenders and black top. I have the xhd rugged ridge wheels with the 4.53 backspacing and -12 offset.

Mopar lift is touching down tomorrow.

Any plans on a new front bumper and winchin the near future? If so what would you go with? I’m learning towards the poison spyder bruiser bumper with a warn Zeon 10-s winch.

Indeed! and yes, I think this was a fluke...I haven't found imperfections in my paint yet.

They making Mojito in 2019 as well? Or are you still able to order a '18 Mojito? Either way, welcome to the club! :)
