My dad just happened to tell me a washer leak story the other day. Back in the 80s he bought a full size Blazer, and the washers would leak every time he'd go around a turn, or up a hill, or something like that. He took it in and talked to the service advisor (back when they knew stuff) and the service advisor told him there was a check valve he could remove and it would no longer leak. The check valve kept the line full so that you wouldn't have to wait long after hitting the washers before fluid cam out. My dad removed the valve, and never had a leak again. He also said he never really noticed how much longer the washers took to spray fluid when activated. Maybe someone should look for a check valve on the rear washer line.
