Love the tire carrier, I have been looking at getting one but I am afraid long term how it will hold up as far as squeaks and rattles.

2019 JLUR Mojito,
Took her out today and put some miles on it , the pictures don’t do any justice for how big this build is. I’d like to thank Jimmy Dedona ( pictured) for the the foundation of this build axles, coil over suspension , drive line . He’s like a surgeon taming and dialing in these monsters . Rolling up the narrow windy sawmill parkway on 42s in rush hour traffic was a breeze. Still have some more things to complete. It’ll never be done , here’s a couple day light pics . That’s a 37” Baja Boss in the picture.

Finally went mini-beastmode myself with bigger tires and Thompson wheels. These things have different backspace from stock for sure, as the whole assembly, while being the same size as Rubi takeoffs (285/70/17) poke way out now! Couple inches at least, and rubbing on the bumper at full left lock esp in reverse.

It looks AWESOME, but I’m still trying to figure out whether the ride is OK or needs some help (better balance, alignment, or something else) - broke them in with some highway miles on pretty crappy highways in MD last night.

Yep that is the plan! Tomorrow if I have the tools!

(UPDATE: Tomorrow is now today and it took me so long to get one of the screws out with a tiny ratchet that I've ordered a set of nut drivers for my power screwdriver, and will do it when they arrive tomorrow) =0)

OK taking these things off is apparently impossible. Others say it's "easy" and "takes 15 minutes tops", well I've been out there for an hour and don't even have one off yet. I took out all the screws and I busted out the pin thing, but apparently there is one more connection farther inboard? by the tow hooks? it looks like there is one more screw there but I can't even get a tiny socket on it. I'm about to go on a murderous rampage here.

EDIT I said screw it and just cut the bastards in place. Ugly edge will clean up later with a dremel, and hey the backs are still on the foglight sections of the bumper. =0)

Sounds like every project I undertake. The force multiplier is when it is supposed to be an "easy job", it becomes a nightmare for me as something always goes wrong. Good luck!
