Thanks. A lot of tape and patienceWow! Nice job painting the speaker grills, keeping the paint that clean around the edge and not getting any on the grill!
Bought it on eBay. Think it was like $ 10.00 for the two light strips. And I unplugged the footwell lights ( but still left them in ) and I just tapped into them and the lights have an adhesive on back and just stuck them underneath and voila it is complete. How’d you get the green ambient lighting?
Welcome aboard mate!!!!Joined the Mojito club last week. My first Jeep, ever.
Made in July 2019, had 2 miles on it and hadn’t been prepped when I went to check it out.
Went back the next day for a test drive, traded in my Mustang and Ranger directly after.
Been wanting a Wrangler for years, and finally pulled the trigger.
JLU. Dig the color.
Noise cancelling tops, Alpine Premium sound, safety, tech, weather mats, 8 sp auto.
Had my Ranger for 20 years, Mustang for 9.
Was concerned I might not like the JLU in the long run, but not anymore. I love it.
Already have a list of mods in the works, enjoying it stock for now.
Sounds like you’re on the right path. Believe you me I am not a professional painter. But as long as you tape it up and sand it properly and just take your time? I’m sure it will come out just fine. Not to mention there are many videos on YouTube to help you which is what I did. Planning on doing the dash pieces next Pray for meWas it difficult to pull the trim out? I have the paint from Touch Up Paint for Mojito but am quite nervous about screwing up the paint job. I did buy the primer, paint, and clearcoat in spray cans along with a handle that I can use to attach to the spray cans to control the spray better. I hope. Happy to have any advice or maybe I should just find someone better at painting, which would probably be anyone other than myself. ;-)
Looks good at night but in the sun?? It looks amazing!!!!! Daylight pics pleaseObviously, I love your Jeep. Would you post a pic of it so I can see those wheels in the light. Tks
