I wasn't aware of this whole Rubi mindset thingy. Gotta admit these reads have been amusing. When I'm out in our TJ, we wave no matter (and plan to do so in our JL). You're in your rig, you're in your rig. (and enjoy...) I've laughed through these threads. To be honest, I find it surprising the Rubi's are complaining about tire noise from other trims and such. I thought that should be a given, especially coming from the "real" Jeeper's such as a Rubi. :)

To be honest, a lot of the JK/JL Rubi's I've seen are nothing but mall crawlers. From a wise old wheeler I know, he's always said, "look at Jeep's tires, it will tell its story.... Alway's the tires...."

Hilarious man, these threads are way too funny! One thing I did learn is that I now appear to own a "Saharacon". Ha!

Awwww... c'mon... it's won the Car and Driver best midsize truck award 3 years running (and that's beating out the Tacoma and the GM twins). And it even can handle some moderate trail duty.

So leaving the diner after lunch I spotted a JKU Moab on 40" Mud Grapplers. I could totally daily drive that.

I hope he added Dana 60’s. If not, that’s like Rosie O’Donnell wearing this.......

lol, well I really don't know enough to recognize the difference between the Dana Axles... And on top of that he'd probably need a much lower axle ratio than the 3.21 or 3.73 to run 40s.

I hope you caught my sarcasm too ;)

Ha ha! Looking through some old pics, I realized my last tow rig was more capable and saw more dirt than a Moab. It had lockers, sway bar disconnects, Warn winch, 33’s, and 4.10 gears.

Yeah... A Power Wagon is like the Rubicon of Ram trucks :giggle:

Think of the Moab as more of the Ram Rebel and Sahara as a Ram Big Horn (Lonestar in your case)

Saw a Powerwagon in Colorado last year that had the full AEV treatment. It was a bad sonofagun.

Nice. I like em, couldn't afford one though. I think if they were in my price range a Tradesman Power Wagon would be in my driveway.

I got my Tradesman with the PW package for $10k off the sticker. Was cheaper than my JL! All of these vehicles are getting way too spendy. I am dead serious, my next one will probably be a basic 2 door Sport, and I will build it for my needs.
