I try not to visit the forum until I’m ready to spend money! From what I gathered when buying my winch plate is that if the bumper moves forward than you have to modify the skid plate to make it fit right, also some plates make you cut brackets off the frame. Rusty’s I found is priced perfectly, and is great quality material and powder coat and it’s a one piece design which I think is important.

And it is #1 on my plate list. Thanks for confirming. I feel better and also appreciate the explanation about the skid plate. Makes sense when I begin to think about the other, related components.

I put on the 315 KO2 load C on my stock wheels and added 1.75 spacers. No lift or leveling. I can’t believe how much of a difference the KO2 is from the stock KM3. Like driving a different Jeep. I shouldn’t have waited so long to switch them.

I think I’m going to go with the same size. I’ve been contemplating between the 315 and 285. What brand spacers did you go with? Any chance you can post a pic of what it looks like from the front?

I used the Teraflex 1.75. It’s at a bit of a downward angle but you can see the side profile.

@tatarin, I know you said you’re running a superchip flashpaq, what are you using it for besides tires adjustments? Anyone else using one? I have no experience with them and just looking for some insight.

The Flashpaq is their power tuner so I’m running the 87oct tune for added performances, disabled the seat belt chime, disabled the autopark, gonna be installing a front camera so I will also enable the cargo camera feature. I love it because it gives you full access to your Jeep.

Did you compare it to the Taser? I have just started looking at these and trying to figure out what makes one better than the other. Starting to read the threads but would be curious since you have one already. My AEV lift came with a programmer, but It only allows essentially adjustment for tire size and gear changes. I would like to play with some of the light features like DRL, use GPS while on the move, and so forth. Thanks

I think superchips is the only one I found that actually has different tunes on it for power all the others like z are just feature modifications.
