If Ford is smart, they will hire him to fix and refine the Bronco. I wonder what the circumstances were for his departure?

He was more of a Stellantis/Fiat guy anyway. He was only part of the Jeep brand because of the merger. Not someone Jeep, as a brand, will really miss.

Manley struck me as an unimaginative but steady boss: once he got his marching orders he got things done. I always thought that going from FCA CEO to Stellantis head of the Americas seemed like a demotion. I guess it was.

Overall, Chrysler/FCA executives don’t seem to have fared well with the merger. Ralph Gilles, who was a star at Chrysler and at FCA, has gotten lost in the Stellantis shuffle; Tim Kuniskis has all but disappeared.
