Metra JL-1014 vs MB Quart JE-116 knee panel speaker pods

Has anyone compared the two side by side? They look very similar but the MB Quart version costs double the price of the Metra ones. Any difference in quality or functionality?

I haven't seen the MB Quart pods in person. I looked at them online before going with the Metra pods. I did just install the Metra pods in my JLUR kick panels. The Metras seemed pretty sturdy (especially with all the torqueing and twisting it took to get that driver's side pod into place). I did take the time to line the inside of the pods with sound deadener and stuffed them with a bit of poly-fill. Sound is much improved over the stock set up.

I can tell you I would not pay any more for pods than I paid for the Metras.
