very good point! Tire choice does matter.It really depends on the tire of interest, maxxis will peel off very easy with no bead lock due to the side wall thickness (1”)... and most hard trails, if it does not, consider it as luck... just my experience...
Reading this now, but just ordered the same one with some KM3s. Wheels are min 6 weeks out on back order.. the waiting game now. These pics solidified my purchase tho thanks for the post.
Decided on zero offset to clear 35s & 37's, the zero offset allows clearence for quick disconnect swaybar links and prevents the tires from bumping into control arms. Plus the stance is great with zero offset, adds some stability.
Ah, ok. That makes sense. I am looking at these wheels along with two others (see: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/assistance-with-wheel-fitment-on-21-rubicon.74009/), and I'm starting to lean towards these.
Took a look at that thread, I would highly suggest the method wheels. Those other two wheels you have listed add a TON of weight comparatively. Rotational weight will really drag down your acceleration and braking.
So the wheel fit without issue but you added the pipe sleeve to dress it up, correct?
