I'm looking into the new Method 702 wheel. Is anyone running these yet? If so, could you post some pictures? Thanks!

Thanks Eli. The bronze looks amazing against the dark gray!

I like the look of the 702's myself, but have yet to see them on a JL.

They do look great. I am on the fence as to which one I like better. Another thing I like about these wheels is that they are built STRONG. I like the location of the valve stem better on the 701s.

Anyone fine out the actual weights of the 701 vs 702's?

I know this is an old thread, just documenting the weights for anyone else that is searching. I really need to start a spreadsheet as I look for a decent light wheel....

This information was taken from tirerack.com

METHOD RACE WHEELS

MR702 17 X8.5 5-127.00 is 28.2 lbs

MR701 17 X8.5 5-127.00 is 30.8 lbs

I'd be interested in your light wheel research if you posted it somewhere.

Any updates on your light wheel quest @pokey02? Blows my mind that people take off the 22lb Rubi wheels and put on a 35lb monstrosity of an ugly wheel.
Yep, I went with a heavier wheel in the Mopar Beadlock. Lol. Its lighter than most beadlocks and let's me run it as a regular wheel or beadlock.

I have Method Standards on my JKUR and was really planning on another Method wheel, but decided to give these a try.

The Mopar wheel and Copper STT Pros are a heavy combo, will see how it works out. I have a 2 door, so will probably never go larger than a 37 ... unless Gen-Right releases their long arm for the JL so I can stretch the wheelbase a bit.
