Quick break, have the driver front spring in and I’m bout to fab up 3” bumps.

NOTE, I fully dropped both sides of the rig withthe Bilstein. The driveshaft slip Boot does hit the crossmember with both sides fully drooped, obviously this doesn’t really happen unless you are jumping, but another reason for a thinner aftermarket shaft.

Front done. Pics of everything at full droop. Good on clearance except driveshaft.

unsettled front is 2 1/4” over the 2”Teraflex spacers, so 4.25 over stock

Looks great. I emailed them a couple days ago about only getting the springs. They gave me a quote. I will probably get back to them after Christmas or as soon as they have a sale again. So your 3.5" springs got you 4.25"? I was actually hoping that they would be a little under. I am going to go with the 2.5" springs. Should be about the same as my 3" spacers now. I am also just going to go ahead and order the 4xe driveshaft they have on their site too. Well that and their front bumper. I really like that one.

These are shock eye to eye measurements so you can measure yours and compare: note the rear are at an angle so lift is less than shock difference, I’ll do the math later. Before is with the TF spacers

I’m hitting the sway to shock which is my limiting factor for droop right now, easy fix with longer links, these are the mopar lift sways.

Next up for flex limit is the passenger side parking brake cable, I couldn’t get the clip in theaxle tab at full droop, these Bilsteins are like 32” extended. Can’t do the old relocation cause our parking brake cable runs into the body over the crossmember.

as they have a sale again.
Heads up, watch Jeepsarelife and Rubitrux for sales, both are MC stocking distributors. Just missed 10% off at JAL, ended yesterday.

Yeah I live about 20 minutes from Metalcloak. I know they have 10% off sales pretty regularly. I was also going to hit them up if they could save me shipping (I know it is free but they have to pay for it) if I just pick my stuff up there. They may have a warehouse somewhere else they ship from so might not work. I am looking at getting the springs, driveshaft and front bumper. I really like the looks of their front bumpers. I saw one on a Gladiator in New Hampshire. Asked him where he got it and realized it was right by the house here in California.

Those parking brake lines suck. I got mine to work, after I pulled them out of their upper brackets but if I was any longer I would of been screwed. My shocks are 30 inches I believe. Fox 2.0 2-3" lift. Anyway you look good and can tell by the crossmember you use your Jeep as a Jeep.

Haha, yeah, looks like it saved the driveshaft. The gas tank skid has taken a solid beating too.

I removed the park brake bracket when I put the spacer lift on, but gonna need to figure out something to get the full 32” of droop.

@Matsonian any chance your team had an idea for the rear parking brake lines in the 4xe?

I went ahead and updated my copy of AnnDee444's shock spreadsheet to reflect actuals for my measurements. I went with 3" bumps for the front with my 37s. I included some other shock options, and the MC ones. I estimated the 6 Pak drop brackets for the front at 2.5" based off what I saw on another thread. Check out the numbers on that - 38.4* max front axle angle! No idea on the outboard bracket impacts (I can't run them with my wheels).

On my 392 I was able to reroute the parking brake cables under the crossmember.

I called them the other day when they were running a sale to ask about the driveshaft thing, because their other lifts also say that but they have an option on them to buy a driveshaft from them while the 4xe does not. They said that you absolutely will need one if you take it offroad at all (do mall crawlers buy lift kits this nice?) but that they dont have any in yet so the option to include one is not there yet (but will be soon). I dont feel comfortable measuring for a driveshaft particularly when there is so little info out there on what other people have done so i decided to be okay missing out on the 10% discount and just waiting till I can get it all from them at once.
I'll probably buy the kit if it goes on sale again and then buy the driveshaft later when available. 10% off would probably pay for that driveshaft.

They now sell with a driveshaft option
