I just finished my install too. I was able to get the front shock spacer nice and tight, so maybe your spacers were too short? I installed the 2.5 game changer and I rerouted the ebrake cables under the support too. I think they should add that to their instructions. I have a question about the front sway bar links. My links appear too long (attached pic) they work but the sway bar ends are angled upward and I am concerned that at full articulation the sway bar might bottom out. How does your look?

With long travel (multirate) springs and long extended length shocks, you need the sway bar end links to be much longer, resulting in the angled sway bar setup you have.

If you don’t have it setup this way, there is risk that at full droop you could flip your sway bar. Looks goofy compared to stock and other kits that don’t have as much down travel.

here are some before and after pics from my 2.5 Game Changer on my 2 door Rubicon. I took the after pics with the factory wheels and tires back on so it could show an exact difference at each corner. I have the tape measure from the floor to the lower control arm bracket. One or two of the pics the tape measure appears crooked, but it is just a camera angle thing. the tape was straight up and down.

Those look awfully fat for a 33”.
Sorry I thought you were referring to the measurement pics. The pic with the black and red mopar wheels are 35/12.50 K02’s

I'm not sure why MC has their links so long. I have read it specc'd for ultimate down travel and keeping the sway bar from flipping. When we did my 3.5" GC install at Dixie, we ended up switching the MC links to a set of shorter TeraFlex links the shop had on hand.

Up travel had the MC links into the stock fender liners. We've flexed her out and no issues with running the shorter TeraFlex links.

Thanks expiditionbuilds. Your pics have me anxiously awaiting my 37” Ridge Grapplers. I ordered them a month ago and I am still waiting. Which spare tire mount do you have that still works with the factory bumper? I will be mounting the Ridge Grapplers on Machete bead locks with 3.5” backspace and am looking to get a spare tire mount that will allow me to continue to use the own bumper.

I've had mine full stuffed and didn't have any rubbing on my fender liners. They do seem overly long though.

I think you will love the Nitto RG's, I have run them on 3 Jeeps now. I feel like they are a near perfect hybrid M/T tire. I also like that they run more true to size. Which rating did you get?

My Recon came with the Jeep Performance Tailgate reinforcement kit. We then added Teraflex's Alpha HD Adj. Tire Carrier. I have a closer look at that in my build thread.

Thanks, I will look at your build thread. I ordered the 37/12.50//17 in the load D. I am hoping for a ride softer than the E rated tires. Also, a little more tire squish when I drop pressure. I have a relatively light weight build going. 2 door, no winch and still have the plastic bumpers...for now..

Good plan! I'm subscribing to that same build ethos, light, capable and efficient. Enjoy the build process.

Thanks for the clarification. I am going with 35s and wanted to see the look before committing.
