Has anyone put the metal cloak skid plates on a 2 door with the 3.6 eTorque?

The OEM skids have a "C" shaped plate part # 68292475AB which holds up the front of the 48 volt battery and attaches to the OEM trans skid plate.
Description of the part is: 48V Wiring to RT Skid Plate.

The metal Cloak Transmission skid WM-6074 does not allow enough room for this support part, so to install the Metal Cloak Transmission Skid it needs to be removed leaving the 48 volt hanging.

Any thoughts on this?

No direct experience but I have been looking at the MetalCloak skids for my '21 2 door 3.6 eTorque as well.

It looks like they offer a solution for the 3.6 eTorque that is specific to model year, 18-20 and then a different one for '21 (which is a $250 up charge), I'm bummed if you ordered the kit for your '21 and are still having issues...

Yes I ordered the one for the 2021 2dr 3.6 eTorque. The difference is it has an additional skid plate for the 48 volt battery.

There is a significant problem with this kit. The kit does not fit with the OEM 48 volt battery front support bracket (aka 48V Wiring to RT Skid Plate )
Metal Cloak didn't provide a part to replace it the OEM part 68292475AB with.

I highly encourage you to call them and ask about it. 916.631.8071
I may help in resolving this sooner.

I wonder if it’s the same problem with the 4 doors.

I suspect it is the same problem with the 4dr as the battery skid is in the same place.

Metal Cloak said they are borrowing a JL with an eTorque motor from the local dealer to figure it out.

I'm not sure of the drive shaft is going to hit the rear battery skid when flexed out? It is very close.
