Memorial Day has nothing to do with honoring serving members of the military nor veterans.

Memorial Day is a remembrance of those who died serving our country.

Veteran's Day is a day for us to pay our respects to those who have served in our military.

Armed Forces Day is set aside to honor all who currently serve in our military.

Had a funeral here Saturday for a guy killed on the USS Oklahoma at Pearl Harbor. Remains were not Id’d until last December. Very touching service.

Memorial day is not the day we thank those who have put on their uniform, it is the day we remember those who never got to take their uniform off.

i know memorial day is to honor the fallen, i also know alot of of our men and women returned leaving a little bit of their self that they will never gain back, so i honor them all.
