Just found this, was busy Memorial Day piping at different functions. But when I was playing with a band we would play at 5 to seven parades I always purchased a poppy from a VFW member at each parade in honor of my grandfather who fought in the war to end all wars. ( somehow that didn’t seem to come about) So I found nobody from any VFW selling Poppies, I would like to support my local VFWs and honor his service but what’s happened to that tradition?
