Hi all, looking to purchase my first Rubicon. However the dealer in Ontario stated that they will not be producing diesel for the 2018 models, can anyone validate this information ?

Looks like August 2018 production.

New guy here. Don't know if this is like the fighter squadron or not, so I'll just say, "Happy to be here," and I'll STFU & listen to the experienced Jeep owners.

Better half and I are looking for our first Jeep, it will be a 4-door, and I'm interested in the JLUs because of the 6.0L diesel.

You're right...I have a Cummins in my Kenworth that is a little more than 2x 6.0L. Whoops.

Hi all! Just registered. Wife and I are Jeep fanatics.

Bought my 2015 JKU almost 3 years ago. We loved it so much had to get one for the wife a month later. Now it's only Jeeps for us. We knew almost nothing about vehicles, but now do all our own maintenance and keep up with all things Jeep daily. Looking forward to seeing the JL, but unsure if we can give up our beloved JKs anytime soon.

New member here! I currently drive a 2015 4Runner (and the husband drives a 07 Tundra) but we are both anxiously awaiting the JLU so we can make our decision of a JKU or JLU. We will be getting His and Hers. We have a 2015 Polaris RZR XP 4 1000 that will be going towards the Jeep purchases and the Jeeps will be turned into our sand and Moab toys. We've always been Wrangler fans and are finally in a spot where we can get them and have funds to mod them...cause what fun is a Jeep if you can't mod it and make it personal?

Long time member - it's about time I say hello from Florida.

Been wanting a JKU for 5 years, and after 3 test drives, and one day rental, I couldn't pull the trigger. The JK just isn't good enough, especially for the $$$.

The JL is shaping up to be everything the JK wishes it was, and in my opinion, is worthy of a $40K+ vehicle.
