2020 Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon
Dave here from the Pacific Northwest (just outside Portland, OR). Born & raised on Long Island in NY. Spent the past 17 years in SoCal hiking deserts with my sons in the scouts. Just moved up here last year and now getting into overlanding with my 2020 JLU Rubicon. Had a '93 Wrangler back in the mid 90's and had to give that up when my wife & I had kids. So now scratching an itch I've had for many years... missed that Jeep. Love this one. Glad to be on the forum. Looking forward to learning lots and sharing experiences.

2018 JL Wrangler Unlimited Sahara
Hi all! New here, four months ago I purchased a 2018 JL Unlimited Sahara. It's optioned up with Leather, 9" screen, CarPlay, Alpine Audio, Heated seats, LED head and tail lights, Tow package, 3 piece hardtop, 3.6L with 6-spd Stick. The previous owner also added Rubicon Wheels and tires (BFG K02 33's) Stage 2 Cold air, and a full flowmaster dual exhaust.

I've since added power side step/ rock rails, 24" rigid light bar, and Rock Slide tailgate table. Future mods coming are a full armorlite floor lining, Seatback shelf, and a headliner.

I use my Wrangler as a combination daily driver and overlander for my mountain bike racing and touring. I own a Taxa Outdoors Tigermoth which I use for overlanding and mtb racing. I do around 12-15 short trips of 3 days or less, 3-4 medium trips of 4-5 days, and usually one big trip of 2+ weeks.

I'm a professional Biometric Physiologist (Bike Fitter) and I enjoy Mountain biking, gravel biking, and road cycling (when I'm looking for a change).

Welcome to the Forum! Newbie here too.

If you have any questions about overlanding, I'd be happy to help out if I can. Congrats on your Rubicon!

Hi everybody! I got my Jeep back in October and spend a LOT of time whinging about the build/delivery process (Aug. 13 order - October 25 pick up). I like talking about Jeeps. I like viewing photos of Jeeps. I now have my dream vehicle and I could not be happier!

2022 Unlimited Rubicon (On Order)
New member here. Placed my order for Unlimited Rubicon on 12/23. This will be our first Jeep but we've been around them for years. We bought our son a Jeep as his first vehicle. He is on his 5th one (Gladiator). He's in the Navy so we've driven many of his Jeeps over the years while he was deployed or stationed somewhere he couldn't take the Jeep.

Anxiously awaiting delivery.

Thank you much!! Having spent the past 17 years down in Temecula, CA I've been out to Scottsdale quite a bit (did some hiking and then Salt River Tubing in Mesa). Always fun out there.
Yep, we have a lot of fun here in AZ. We have been here for 47 years, and just couldn't imagine living anyplace else. The Desert is a great place to live. It does get hot mid-May through Sept, but we have a cabin up on the Rim for that time of year.. ;)
