Howdy from Minnesota. Picked up my first modern wrangler, a 2021 392. This will serve as my DD and weekend worrier since I sold the dedicated trail scrambler.

Trying not to go too wild, but the mods so far are:

• MORE Al engine skid
• MORE xfer skid
• Metal cloak diff cover and skids
• Rear shock skids
• Warn bull bar
• Ironman raid rear bumper
• Clayton 2.5 lift springs and control arms
• Fox 2.5 shocks
• Midland gmrs
• LOD armor lite sliders
• Ram mount on dash for radio and phone
• Custom high clearance muffler tips

It had the zeon winch and Baja Design lights on it when I bought it.

Only had a chance to wheel it a couple of times since buying it this summer, but loving it so far.

Hi there, Austin from TX here. Got my JL 2d Sport 2.0 about a year ago and been pretty happy with it ever since. I bought it used and fell in love cuz it’s got manual everything except the transmission. The soft top is nice and all that too. Ended up dumping some money into right out of the gate to fix the unfortunate RC lift that the previous owner had put on (about to do springs and a trailer lighting kit). Lookin forward to being a part of this community and maybe even contributing something useful eventually.

Adam from PA, I currently drive a 2010 Liberty Sport but have a '24 Wrangler Sport S on order. Looking forward to having a wrangler. The wrangler will be my 1st wrangler but my 3rd jeep overall as I started out with a '98 Grand Cherokee that unfortunately got totaled and then bough my current '10 Liberty.

My name is Andrew. Bought my first ever Wrangler this past Saturday. A slightly used 2021 Rubicon 392. (3,200 miles). I’m in love with it. It‘s so much fun. Looking forward to learning so much more about it and getting many opportunities to enjoy it for years to come.

Side note: My name ‘Reign-gler’ is a play on words from the 23 Reign colored 4xe I almost bought first. Walked away after I discovered a significant transmission leak. I reached out to the admins to see about changing my name but have not heard back…

Well after having a Hydra Blue on order since April without any movement... Moved on and picked up a 2024 in Granite Crystal two weekends ago. Happy to have a JEEP back in the driveway.

Hi, I am Eric from western US. I just purchased a 23 Wrangler and love the darn thing. I have taken it off-road and it handles better than my old Colorado or Landrover Disco II.

I keep seeing what look like various designations, JK JL JKLU, etc. Google is no help. Is there a site which explains Jeepology to 3rd graders? I would like to know the basics, although I have read Wiki articles and other sources I can find.

Welcome to the Jeep Family! Those designations refer to the body style versions of the Wrangler over the years. The Wrangler YJ was made from 87 to 96 (although they didn't actually make a 96 year model), the Wrangler TJ from 97 to 06, the Wrangler JK from 07 to 18 and the current model Wrangler JL from 18 to present. Yes, both the JK and the JL were made in model year 2018. Before the YJ in 87, the Jeep was not known as a Wrangler but as a CJ (Civilian Jeep) and it had various models such as CJ3, CJ5, etc. The U indicates Unlimited and refers to the 4 door models versus the 2 door. The Unlimited also refers to the TJ 2 door models that had a longer tub on them.

And this doesn't even begin to explain the various trim levels...Sport, Sport S, Willy's, Sahara, Rubicon....

Seems like membership is growing nicely lately but I didn't see an intro thread, so I'll start!

I'm Rob from NY. I daily a Grand Cherokee and got a project TJ SE that I've had for years and will hopefully keep forever. Was considering a JKU as a weekend outdoor activity car for the family, but figured the JL Unlimited is right around the corner so why not wait. Happy to be here for the last few months following all the great news and coverage of the JL Wrangler.

Just wanted to peak in and introduce myself. Been a pleasure lurking through the forums while I was doing research, looking forward to all discussion and learning here. Cheers

I purchased a 2022 2D Willys and my wife drives a 2020 Unlimited.
She didn't want to get hers dirty so I had to get one for myself. We traded in our BMWs for the Jeeps and although the ride isn't as smooth it is MUCH more fun.

Hey Folks,
Just got my 2 door Rubicon couple of weeks ago, I've had a CJ-7, YJ, TJ, and a 4 door JK Rubicon. I did a few Camp Jeeps, and a Jamboree with the TJ, retired now, and looking forward to doing some events.

Starting with a build list already haha.

I'm in Ormond Beach FL, just north of Daytona.
