Maximus or Mopar Steel Bumper Hoop?

I like 2nd more, that's Warn right? I'm conflicted between that and the maximux 3 stinger. I don't like the 2 hoops on the Max stinger else I'd get that. Is the Warn pipe 2" or 2.5"? They don't give you any details

Yeah,, second is Warn. It is 2inch tubing, but they don't ''look'' thin because of their shape. I too find some models to look too thin and don't like them. And the finish perfectly matches the steel bumper.

I've seen what you describe, more or less, from Rough Country and Westin. Bumper bars with internally mounted and wired light bars.

Yep - hoping someone releases something that is a metal bumper bolt on/round format or similar.

I mean what if you need to hold the hoop while you have a trail poop.

If you're leaning toward the Mopar bar, there is a "knock off" on amazon for $75ish. I purchased it for the oem steel bumpers I'm installing on our incoming Sahara. It looks identical to the Mopar at a fraction of the cost.

My front bumper came with a Rockhard 4x4 hoop and while I love the shape/height/etc, the finish is awful. It's a glossy black, which doesn't even *remotely* match with the factory steel. It was "free' so I've left it on but it bothers the hell out of me.

EXACTLY, it's most likely the cleanest grabbable part of the Jeep to hold your squat

ALSO, since you mentioned it, note that if you're putting a factory steel rear bumper on your Sahara, you'll need new side brackets (the ones from the plastic won't work) *AND* you'll need to have a spare tire relocation kit, especially if you're running Rubicon take-off 33's. Ask me how I know.

Thanks - already have all the hardware for the steel bumpers & skid plate. Planning to go with 285/75/17 on the moab wheels I just picked up, so will look into the spare tire items

I know the Maximus has more stabilization but I kinda like the Mopar. Any input? Experiences with either? Yeah, it’s a hoop but what is the powder coat quality? Any rust issues?

I have the Warn mid height and the Maximus light bracket with KC Gravity Pro6 lights. IMO, it "frames" the lights perfectly in the space below the bar.
