Happy New Year everyone!

I need some help on my @Maximus-3 ladder install. I’m trying to figure out how to get the nuts in between the body lip and the main body part so I can screw the bolt in. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips from your installs?

Are you talking about the plastic trim pieces underneath the metal lip?
Yeah. If you take those out, it will expose the bottom side of the lip.

They're not bad to take out. Start with the Seat belt square. Be careful not to tear the tailgate seal when removing the aft piece.

It's not bad once you've removed them a couple times.

Got it. That’s a much more detailed instruction than what came with it. Did you use any JB Weld to hold the nut in place underneath the metal lip? I really appreciate the help!

I've never installed one. I wouldn't use any JB weld though.
