Hi @voodoo11, thanks for the question. Basically the Maximus-3 mounting bracket system marries the rack to the sport-bar (through the hardtop) In order to remove the hardtop you have to unbolt the brackets from each other or remove the bolts that go through the hardtop. @TexRivers, Maximus-3 does a lot of business with several off-road shops in the Houston area. The top two are:
4WP Houston South Loop (point of contact Jeff F.) Jeff is a stand-up guy, I'd trust him with my Jeep.
Allout Offroad Performance (numbers 2, 3, 4)

Any professional install shop should be able to install this rack. These two companies are the ones I have the most experience with in your area.

1) Once removed, will the brackets still attached interfere with the installation of the soft top?
2) Can the rear bracket roll bar bolts be removed instead of the ones you have circled?

1.) They may interfere. When switching to a soft-top I recommend removing all the Maximus-3 roof rack brackets from the sports-bar.
2.) Yes, absolutely. There is more than one way to unbolt these brackets, whichever works best for your scenario.

Two other shops that look promising are Shaffer's Offroad and Bay Truck Accessories. Not sure if they have installed our rack, but they appear professional and fully capable.
