I’m really holding out hope for a 2.5” (or even 2.0”) kit.
Hi @mikej & @Redneck_Jedi ,
Good news, a 2.5" Geo-Lift is in the works for both 2-door and 4-door. Our 3.5" and 4.5" versions will be out first, and the 2.5" version will be available soon after. No plans for a straight 2" lift though.

Maximus-3 crunched the numbers and double-checked the angles. Here are some important specs for our 3.5" Geo-Lift with 37" tires:

Approach Angle = 51.9*
Break-Over Angle = 29.4*
Departure Angle = 49.3*
Wheelbase = 118.5"
Ground Clearance = 15.5"

I'm so glad I've held off on doing anything to my JLUR. I had already put your pioneer rack system on my list and now I'll be waiting for this lift to be available.

Maximus, I would like your thoughts on running your lift system with 37's. Pretty new with Wranglers and there are some contradicting information I've been reading where one group of enthusiasts state that 37s are fine with the Dana 44 on the Rubicon. But also reading in contrary where the 37s will sooner or later cause a premature replacement of parts. I don't know how many miles you have run your system with 37s but I'd like your input. Thank you.

Hi @koinneach,
There is definitely a surplus of contradicting info out there, and a lot of it is taken out of context. Unfortunately, there isn't a "one-size-fits-all" answer when it comes to gears. Here is our experience so far:

Maximus-3 has been running 37"s on our JLU Rubicon for almost 18,000 miles with stock D44 axles. These miles include use of several different lift-kits, so we could observe and compare them to ours. So far, zero issues and no signs of premature wear. The acceleration is great and not sluggish at all. From our experience we are happy with the factory gears for now.

We have tested our Maximus-3 Geo Lift for just over 2500 miles with 37" tires. We conclude that our kit's optimized geometrical arrangement and smooth ride-quality puts less overall stress on suspension, steering, and drive-train components (compared to other lift-kits we've tested.)

Our input is
* Decide on tires and lift-kit size
* Install and test them out.
* Re-gear if you feel it's necessary

So far, we have had a pleasant experience with the stock Dana 44's and 37's, but who knows what the future will hold.
If we upgrade to 40's we will most definitely regear.

What's the height from ground to top of rack with the 37s. Thought you had answered but can't find it

It's hard to get an exact dimension, just measured about 83.5" Keep in mind:
* Maximus-3 Roof Rack with Rail Kit adds about 5"
* Maximus-3 Geo-Lift Kit added about 3.5"
* Net Tire height increase added about 2" - 2.5" over stock

Perfect. I need it to fit in my 6' - 11" garage. I'm waffling on whether I need the rails for a RTT

Hi Maximus, thank you for the feedback! Great to hear and a bit reassuring. Definitely helping me sway towards the 37s !

I made this chart because my garage height is limited too. I have the Maximus3 rack and I love it. I have their stinger and some internal light mounts and love them. I am considering lift and RTT as well. I added Maximus-3 and 37s to the chart.
