I wonder if brackets cost less than a full set of control arms, etc :cwl:
All things considered, the Maximus-3 drop brackets are a better value.
Our brackets fix three issues V.S. the other way only fixes one. (3 > 1)

Hey everyone,
I was extremely fortunate to be one of the first Beta Testers for the Maximus-3 Geo lift. I just picked it up Friday and installed it over the weekend. This was my first wrangler and I have never done much with a car other than change brake pads. Overall the hardest part of the install was getting off a few factory items such as the factory draglink off the Pittman arm. After that the installation of the relocation and geo brackets was pretty straight forward. I’m def no mechanic but for any other first timers having a second hand would be a huge help.
I cannot thank Joe and Matt from Maximus-3 enough for all their help along the way. They were so helpful in explaining the whole process. These guys are so dedicated to every single aspect of their products and work. Which is no surprise at the quality of the work they produce.
Anyways so the lift itself after going back and fourth I decided to go with the 4.5 inch lift over the 3.5 because I loved the way joes Jeep looked with 37’s and a 3.5” lift and I had bought 38” tires. Their lift corrects both caster and pinion angle so to me there was no downside to going bigger. Well getting in can be a challenge in dress cloths, but let’s be real it’s a Jeep. I know it is not right to look down upon others, but now I don't have a choice I look down on everyone I pass. In addition, they picked out the Fox performance series shocks and rock krawler triple rate springs. Lastly, I used the steersmart flipped draglink. I must say first impressions of this lift is just wow. I’ve only had it few days and had a lot of the doctors I work with drive it around the parking lot and couldn’t believe how smooth the ride is. The most important thing to me was ride quality because 90% of the time I was going to be driving to work and around town. I never imagined something so lifted would have such pleasant ride. I have not even had an alignment and hauling 80 down the expressway with hands off the wheel this thing tracks so well. I have not unfortunately had the time the past 2 days to get it off road yet, but I will let you guys know.
. So far this thing is one sick monster I think even Joe from Maximus might be a little jealous right now haha. If anyone know of a good Step Stool for my wife please let me know.

Feel free to ask me any questions

Wow! That is badass looking! Two questions:

1. Are those 38 x13.5 milestar patagonias?
2. Where's the snow?

I'm 6-4 so I won't need a step stool, and I don't plan to get rocks sliders with mom steps. My only concern with 4.5" is the rack I'm getting (M3). Will it get in my garage at 6'-11"? I need to go back and review that chart before I decide.

Damn!

yea those are the milestar 38 x 13.5 patagonias i love them very quiet on the road and look sick in person. I can measure tmrw but if your garage is 6' 11" you will not clear. I think im right at 6' 11" i avoided the car wash today because i was afraid with 7 foot clearance. I will measure tomorrow and let you know how tall it is. LOL its been a very warm winter thus far here in detroit

What did you do for reinforcement for the spare tire? You still seem to have the stock steel bumper. And what wheels are those? Real beadlocks?
i have the upgraded mopar reinforcement kit but im planning on getting the maximus-3 spare tire carrier as soon as it comes out. If I go offroading in a couple weeks I will remove the tire for now

Xif the stock Rubicon is at about 6'-1" then addingn4.5 and 2.5 gets me to to 6'-8", leaving me ~3 inches for the M3 Pioneer rack since my limit is based on a rubber gasket on my door, not the frame.

That will cut it close with the base m3 pioneer rack with no rails.

So I measured in at 80” today from the ground. you can see the difference with 38” and a 4.5” lift to the Maximus jeep with 37” and 3.5” lift measuring in around 77”
