Maximum height of 2022 JLU 4dr hardtop w/ Xtreme Recon 35" tire package?

I'm getting back into a Jeep after an absence of 20+ years. Getting ready to order a 2022 JLU 4dr and I'm wanting the Xtreme Recon 35" package, but I cant find anywhere online that lists the vehicle height with the 35" tire package. I see the soft top with standard tires is 73.5", but I see nowhere where it lists with 35" tires.

I have a non' standard garage door opening height of 81" and I'm 95% sure it will fit, but in the Jeep literature it states the 35" tire package includes a few suspension changes which I'm assuming may affect the overall height. Does anybody here have the 35" package that could measure for me? Thanks!

Just kidding. You’ll be fine. A few folks have reported heights at around 75”.

One additional consideration is the depth of any ribbing or reinforcement on the garage door itself. Though simple DIY tricks with pool noodles can help mitigate that.

I just went out and measured mine. I have about 150 pounds of gear in the back, but even with the rib on top it looks to be less than 75 inches.

Thanks so much for measuring! I'm sure it will fit now. I used to have an FJ with 2" lift and it just barely fit in the garage. (Had the factory rack). Looks like I'm good to go!

No problem. I was surprised by the height as well. I think my Tundra was taller. Sounds like you would even have space for a rack if you go down that road. I loved the FJ, but never bought one. Had to get grey hair before I bought my adventure vehicle

FWIW, my Sahara on a Mopar lift and "true" 35s (as opposed to 315s) is likely about 1.5 inches higher than a stock JLUR XR.

I still have a couple inches of clearance left through my standard 72-inch garage door.

I bought a 2008 FJ brand new and kept it for 10 years. It was a great truck. Very capable for what it is, also. But, I used to own a CJ5 way back in the old days.....and you just can't beat a Jeep!
