Bone stock 2019 JLUR = Stock rims, no lift, no spacers (for the wheels), no bump stop extensions, stock steering dumper... Stock.
A few weeks ago put on a set of Milestar Patagonia M/T Mud-Terrain Radial Tire - LT315/70R17 121Q.
No rubbing at all - full turn/lock (left and right) and full articulation/flex (front and rear, up and down).
Yes - I would say you can get the 35", on stock rims without wheel spacers with no rubbing.

35" BFG KO2's with no lift. No problem on the trails as you can see.

I've since added a winch and some metalcloak skids so also put on the Teraflex 1.5" spacer lift to accommodate the weight.

I ran several thousand miles with a set of bf goodrich ko2 35's (315/70-17 C rated) on stock wheels and no spacers, and had zero rubbing issues.
Have you gone off-road with the sway bar disconnected? I am under the impression that 35's will rub under full articulation with the sway bar disconnected. Or am I mistaken?

35" without any lift, fender change. It will simply take 35s. Same with Sahara.

Are you sure? The Sahara has the shorter fenders and narrow axle. Is there just not enough articulation on the Sahara for it to become a problem?

Only the lightest rubbing of the plastic fender liners with the sway bar disconnected and at full flex.

37s definitely rub on stock Rubicon suspension, even with street driving. Believe me, I've literally ground holes in my inner fender wells because I ran out of money to lift if after I spent thousands on my wheel/tire combo! When there are more than 2 people in the vehicle, the rubbing is incessant, not too bad with only the driver.

I was told I could get away with 37ā€™s and a 2ā€ wheel spacer with stock wheels and suspension. I do have a stubby bumper and should be ok. Thoughts?

Confirmed, at least for BFG KO2. Others in this thread with aftermarket wheels and other brand tires did not fit...

You will rub. Its guaranteed. Just be prepared to either lift, live with the rubbing, or modify your inner fenders in the rear to clear up space.

For myself, I've just saving my money to add the lift. Tired of the rubbing when I have passengers...

I do have the JCR Offroad fender liners. And yes Iā€™m expecting to get a lift. Matter of clearing funds with the Mrs. Accountant. Lol

You can clear 37s with 3" bump stops in the rear and some remolding of the fender liners in the rear but you will rub at full lock on the front without wheel spacers.(that didn't leave a lot of room for up travel but it wasn't rubbing) I only ran mine like this for a few days and never off road. I did add a 1.5" TF lift and 1.5" wheel spacers and it wheeled okay, till I could get a proper lift and shocks on it.

Hello Everyone,
I have a 2019 Rubicon which I love (my wife hates when I say that but what can I do) and after waxing it and cleaning the wheels I feel like there is a lot of space for potentially a larger tire. I understand the Rubicon needs space in the wheel well for articulation when going off road but my question to everyone is; Can I put on a a larger sized tire on my 2019 rubicon without any modifications. Also I obviously don't want any rubbing?
Does the clearance differ significantly for the 2019 Sahara? I'm running stock alloys and lift, but looking at the Fuel Vapor and wondering if there's any issue there.
