Just a quick question, if you have a manual transmission, are on a hill, and have the doors and top off, what's stopping someone from taking it out of gear and releasing the hand brake to let your car roll down the hill?

Well, you should turn your wheels toward the curb when parked on a hill, but, that being said a dbag could still muscle the steering straight first (though, they might not think about it or want to fight the steering wheel just to be an asshat). A manual transmission is a 'Millenial Anti-Theft Device' so I leave it in gear. Everyone knows how a parking brake works but most non-manual drivers wouldn't know to press the clutch and take it out of gear.

I leave it in gear and with the parking brake set. Luckily in flat ass north Texas, there aren't many hills here so I guess I've been lucky.
