A manual transmission is a 'Millenial Anti-Theft Device' so I leave it in gear. Everyone knows how a parking brake works but most non-manual drivers wouldn't know to press the clutch and take it out of gear.
Except that you don’t have to press the clutch pedal to take it out of gear.

if you can get it out of gear while on a hill i'd be surprised with out using the clutch. A) Park close to the curb as possible B) turn wheels in appropriate direction for decline of incline of hill C) turn Jeep off D) release clutch with foot on brake and allow it to slowly roll into the gear ( I like to use 3rd when up hill facing and Rev for down hill ) to hold in place. E) set parking Brake. Id pay to see you try and pull 4K lbs out of gear without the clutch. thus not impossible but its very difficult with the vehicles full weight on the gear set. This is the best option.

You resurrected a 4 year old thread to say this? 😂

It’s not hard in an auto, either. Transmission release button and off she goes.
Yup
