MANUAL TRANS Sport S - HVAC fan goes full blast upon starting vehicle

Has anyone experienced the HVAC system fan going full blast a few seconds after starting the vehicle? Some of the system buttons are locked out too while this occurs. It lasts probably a minute or two. Sometimes just killing the ignition and restarting will keep it from happening. This just started for me a few months ago and I have had the vehicle since May 19. It does not do it every time, just intermittent, but very freaking annoying.

Yup, that is when I see what the OP sees.... 8-) It is normal behavior... OP, undoubtedly saw it start when cold weather started setting in...

Mine is a manual, so I don't have remote start. I don't think I have Automatic Climate control either. It is a Sport S. I have not RTFM though either . It is intermittent. Sometimes when I pull out of my garage it does it, and the temp in there is not below freezing, or even below 40 degrees.
