Check out Cool Tech's “JL PowerPort” to make the front cigarette lighter always on. An inexpensive, but well made adapter. Easy to reverse back to stock if you want to later. Five minute install.
It was easier to buy the pigtail and install it than rewiring the lighter over to one of the auxiliary switches.
My USB port is also full time hot ... but, I don’t know if it was hot before the install. Jeep is at the dealers, so I can’t double check.

If you have the cigarette lighter plug in the cargo area, it, by factory default is always on.
It can be changed to only be on when the rig is on as per instructions in the owners manual that involve moving a fuse in the Power Distribution Center (on the engine side of the glove box) to an adjacent location from its factory default
