Correct but you have to pay an extra $1,295 to get those uconnect 4C fearures on the Rubi. They are not standard. I was trying to compare apples to apples by adding the $1,000 tech group and $595 D44 rear axle to Sport S to get it as close to Rubi as factory possible.

So you are saying Rubi has 2" lift compared to Sport? This is verified info?
This is correct however I don’t know if it’s an actual 2”lift or just Rubicon springs, but it definitely sits higher than a sport and can definitely fit 35s with full articulation without needing any other mods done. That has been confirmed!

Apples to apples the Rubi is only 40,933 vs the sport at 39,006
No. This is fake news.

There is a $5,000 difference after adding tech package and LSD/D44/all terrain tire package to Sport S 4 door. More like $6,500 without these options added to Sport S.

All other options are the same price but not all options are available on Sport S.

Build them and compare for yourself.

Exactly! Even so, for his 5K you are getting

Power dome hood
Better stronger axles (front and rear)
Electronic disconnect sway bar
Better gears
Lockers (front and rear)
Hi-line fenders
STD 33” A/T tires
2" lift ready for 35's
Better resale

Again, why would anyone NOT buy a Rubicon?
...and bigger brakes

Subtract the auto from the rubi (or add it to the sport too) and you get all that for only $3k!

Again, why would anyone NOT buy a Rubicon?
AND a 4:1 transfer case.

Ground clearance for JL's are Sport = 9.7 Sahara= 10 Rubi = 10.8

It's 1 inch, not 2. The sport will take 33's from the factory to match (nearly) clearance of Rubi.

Yeah. It's just tires and shocks. not an actual lift.

In a foot of snow, that works well enough. But a more common condition is partially-plowed roads with patches of ice and slush, and you can't just leave it in 4Hi in those conditions without trashing your drivetrain and/or understeering right off the road. Auto-4WD+rear LSD is a very nice combo for typical 'real-world' winter conditions.
Im still learning but why cant you keep it in 4hi without it damaging anything i do understand the 4low situation.. as per rock-trac its 50/50 front rear and it adjusts .. Am i wrong?

It doesn't adjust, it's a fixed power ratio front to back. Selec-trac adjusts based in traction.

I meant nice! (Fucking spell check)
"It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it" (applies to guns and capable Jeeps).
Exactly it’s just like a winchwhen I didn’t have one there were late nights and wasted stuck days when I have had one I have only had to use it to help others
