Is this different than the Star Case made to my vehicle? I already gave Julie this info long ago when I first reported this issue.

Hard to tell from the description of the recall. I will certainly be asking my Service Manager about it. Who knows, if this is the cause it’s possible there are more impacted VINs than they realize.

Sure doesn’t sound like the recall description is related to steering lock up.

According to Carsalesbase data, since January-April Jeep has sold 85,278 new JL's. 9 of you have this major steering problem recorded. I'm sorry you guys have this problem and I hope they find a fix for all of you, but I have to say, Jeep has done an outstanding job on the new JL.

I would agree. I love the new Jeep and understand there are always going to be unforeseen problems with any vehicle, especially new models.

That being said, I think this will impact much more than 9 of us when all is said and done. Who knows how many people have this issue and aren’t on this forum? Considering this forum has probably a couple hundred users it could be thousands. Also, there is no way of telling how many people either have this issue and haven’t noticed it yet or how many could potentially get it down the road. I am close to 2k miles now but didn’t experience this issue at all for the first 1200 miles.

Yes, I agree with everything nothajan has stated. I love the JL, MY JL, I drove it everyday since I got it, went off roading up in the mountains, spent countless hours making it mine. If they fix it, I'll love it even more!

Just got a response from JEEP INFORMANT. This is what he came back with.
"Hey bud. I know. This has nothing to do with the problem your having. Still no bulletins. I check every day."
