Looks good! Any issues with fitment, and how difficult was it to remove the parking sensors from stock bumper?

In all honesty it was a nightmare with the sensors.
Used the sensor holders that came with the steel bumper & they kept throwing up false readings.
Ended up removing the sensor holders from the Original Bumper & used them instead but it took hours of unbolting bits, gluing, re- positioning etc - all good now & work perfectly.

If you are looking to fit one then I'm now an expert & happy to help.

I’d forgotten how time consuming it was dismantling the front bumper.

Nice look, Leigh!

I think I'm gonna need your help on the front parking sensors, as I still haven't solved the false alarm issue with the left and right front sensors. The craziest thing is that they work fully fine without any faults with the back covers of the bumper end caps removed - as soon as i put them back the sensors start to have false readings all the time. I don't understand the physics of the process - maybe the massive metal plate behind the sensors creates some kind of resonance for the ultrasound, but I'm not a specialist here. And only 2 out of 6 sensors suffer from this - those on the edges - the 4 sensors in the center never caused a problem to me.
But I definitely want to solve the issue as I don't like the look of the missing bolts and the dirt getting inside the bumper with the covers removed. I think I'd better PM you in order not the mess up your thread.

Any suggestions on getting the front sensors to stop throwing out false warnings? I finally got my Ebay (actually Rakuten since I'm in Japan) bumper installed last night, but it randomly says that I'm running over small children while I drive, or should I say that the red 'close distance' alarm keeps going off. The side sensors work fine, surprisingly. I also used the brackets that I removed from the OEM bumper, the flimsy brackets included in the kit either broke or wouldn't hold the sensor against the bumper firmly, so I didn't use them What was your trick to get them working properly?

How did you guys get your bumpers to sit so close to the front clip, mine still has at least a 6" gap.

I have that filler panel, just haven't installed it yet because I'm still trying to get the sensor working properly. Even so, everyone else's bumper looks so much better (closer), or perhaps their picture taking is so much better than mine.. Either way, your jeeps look great!!!
