Can't go wrong with Magnaflow. I personally like the sound of it than Flowmaster.

I'd like to hear clips of it on a JL, probably will be some in a few months

Id rather get rid of the muffler in that location and install a air tank.

Should sound the same as a JK, same engine for all intents and purposes.
It will sound similar , The crossover pipe is designed different between the JK and JL

Has anyone noticed that the stock engine/exhaust note of the JL sounds much different then the JK? Not in any bad or intrusive way, but certainly different.

Did anyone notice a performance gain from the magnaflows on the JK?

It supposedly adds 5-15HP. I don't think you would be able to feel that, but it definitely sounded quicker

They mention in their FAQ that the diesel system has 'more performance gains'. I'm waiting for the diesel myself.

I've never had an aftermarket exhaust.
I like how they sound, but how much louder does it get inside the Jeep as opposed to being behind or around? I get that it depends on soft, hard, no top.
