Here’s some start up footage as well. Cleaned most of the mud off, so you can get a better idea of what it looks like. Also some close ups as well. The AC fan kicks on eventually.

LISTEN WITH HEADPHONES OR ON SPEAKERS THAT REPRODUCE LOWER END FREQUENCIES WELL

Guessing that's from a cold start?

any drone noise around 2k and 2500 rpm on highway ??
Just had the Magnaflow catback dual exhaust installed today. Glad I had someone else do it professionally because it’s hot as hell outside. Looks great and fits more snug compared to the stock exhaust. The sound is not as aggressive as I was expecting, but it’s definitely a high quality piece of equipment. It has more of a lower end exhaust note. Sounds more clean than aggressive.

EDIT: The sound has grown on me tremendously. I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Audio and video clips are available in later posts

@jeep11639 Not terrible... but a bit more than the stock exhaust. The beauty of MF is they use quality materials (which you pay for), so no "fart can" noises.

Is there a significant difference between catback and axle back?

Wemust have missed this thread, but thank you for sharing those awesome pics and sound clips, Dreadnought! We're glad to hear you are loving the sound of the new system on your JL!

The catback systems will give you some power gains too, in addition to the sound and aesthetics. :like:
