Does your tracking show Monday delivery also? I know the wait sucked but I’m not going to complain about the upgrade to the mk3 rails. I will get the skids for them when available. Hopefully it’s not as long a wait :CWL:

Check your tracking today. Mine have finally been shipped. Ups says delivery of Monday and I’m in PA, so I don’t think you will have them by this weekend if they did ship
getting both packages by next thursday.

I placed an order today for these. Hoping the wait won’t be too long as the wife is bugging me about “steps”!

I was one of the ones in that group that ordered awhile back and was upgraded to the new MK3's. I saw Anthony note that these can now be either body or frame mounted. Why would one go with body mounted if they can be frame mounted? Just for an easier install?

I got mine today and just got done installing them. I will say the link Anthony sends for install instructions(which is just a thread on here that a member did while installing his mk1’s or maybe they were mk2’s). Either way that thread is only a little useful. The front brackets are completely different, and the flag nuts for the other bracket that bolts directly to the side of the frame don’t work. You have to break the tab off that you hold it with so you can get all three holes to line up. Below I’m holding the flag-nut with all three holes lined up.

Maybe the design is for you to break that handle off because the bracket itself covers most of the hole that the flag-nut was inserted through.

Besides that I’m very happy with them. They look great and seem to be very solid.

Here is a close up of the finish then pics installed

Now that I’m really looking at the picture of the flag-nut I’m starting to think that I had it on the wrong side :CWL:

Oh well if I did I still got it to work

you had the wrong side, lol i got done installing 2 hours ago. the arrow should be on the bottom not the side. while unpacking i somewhat organized the parts according to the mk1 install. i agree the front step mount is different than the mk1's, the longer bolts 3 bolts go to the front step mount. ill be taking it back apart next week to install lights.
