Loose wire under passenger side glove box. Ideas?

Was cleaning my JL 2.0 yesterday and noticed a purple clip and wire hanging down under the passenger side under the glove box. I reattached it, any ideas what this was for? I didn't notice any problems when it wasn't attached. It was the far right wire with the purple harness.

Anything clipped on like that is not OEM/factory. It was likely added by the dealer as some type of tracking system, etc. There have been numerous threads on here about similar.

If you can, try to trace the wires and take a pic of what they are connected to. Post back what you find.
