Since people are replacing the box with a hydraulic version, is there any way to retrofit a JK box on the JK? With a few tweaks, maybe its possible? That may be way more cost effective.

1-2". I installed the longer Mopar LCA's and that helped. Mine tracks straight down the road but it takes too much steering wheel to make adjustments.I read this thread and my husband checked the torque on the bolts:
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/sway-bar-links-loose-nuts.33660/
They were not to spec and tightening them has helped the loose feeling we had when driving towards Tahoe. I think those bolts have loosened recently because the steering has been feeling looser and at times really unsettling. This is different than the play/slop in the wheel. That hasnāt changed, but itās not as scary now.
Thatās disappointing to hear. How much of a dead spot do you have?
they didn't do anything at all? have you had damper recall done, did they check software updates also? or even verify proper torque specs in front end?
Yeah, find a new dealer. Plenty of high quality Jeep dealers to choose from. Well, maybe not.find a new dealer, that's unreal..
One thing that makes me laugh is when they tell people to go to a dealer for an obvious software problem. A software problem shouldn't require a trip to the dealer. The software team should be alerted and they can triage the problem without any involvement of a dealer. Then they can deliver an OTA update (or usb sticks via mail or something). And be done with it. FFS. To me that alone is evidence they're stuck in the 1970s.Yeah, find a new dealer. Plenty of high quality Jeep dealers to choose from. Well, maybe not.
@JeepCares I Dropped off the Jeep with 4469 miles and picked it up with 4469 miles. I asked them to verify/check alignment after they were done. They agreed when I dropped it off. When I picked it up they told me it didn't need it with a track bar swap. I told them that is correct for toe but the steering wheel may not be clocked right. Well sure enough as soon as I drove out of the lot down the road the steering wheel is off. Turned around and went back to the dealer. They didn't care. Didn't even offer to get it back in to check. Just said tech said it didn't need it. I am so fed up with FCA dealers and their incompetent Technicians. What is the point of having a new Jeep with a new vehicle warranty if you have to do all the work on it yourself???
Hi jforse & jeepfan30,Same here. Had new track bar installed and asked for the alignment mentioned in the TSB and Star bulletin. They said āit doesnāt need an alignment, we can tell from looking at itā.

Suggestion: Each time a customer has to escalate to Jeep Cares to get a dealership to do what they are supposed to do, should result in the appropriate action for the person directly responsible at the dealership. Like 3 strikes and you are out. This is the only way FCA will change their multi-decade last place customer service ranking in the JD Powers customer surveys. #ThisIsntRocketScienceHi jforse & jeepfan30,

If this is a āmulti-decadeā issue, the problem is actually FCA. There are a million ways to fix it. But it requires manufacturer leadership.Suggestion: Each time a customer has to escalate to Jeep Cares to get a dealership to do what they are supposed to do, should result in the appropriate action for the person directly responsible at the dealership. If ya ever come through Ohio and still have these insane issues let me know...I also already have a FCA rep working on this for the last year of ownership. Im about fed up.
Yeah and then know it alls wonāt follow exact directions for usb flashes and end up in a boot loop or some insanely stupid issue after it taking anywhere from 45mins to 3hours to upload via usb, then occasionally some DTCS can set (CEL) so now weāre talking ya need to go out of your way if ya donāt have a tuner or A pod via fca to plug in and clear codes.... itās a lose lose unless itās a legit OTA. But I couldnāt tell you how many customers Iāve spoken to who are furious but then realize it was them selfs that delayed the OTA by not reading the pop up for it and clicking not now or cancel.and then it starts to click. And most customers donāt know they can also go to Uconnect website type their VIN in and right away itāll show weather or not thereās and OTA/USB or NO update out at the time. And However fca is has had way to many issue between wranglers and Pacifica that they are actually done with this ācompanyā (very well known brand).radio unitsOne thing that makes me laugh is when they tell people to go to a dealer for an obvious software problem.
