Ford built MBs during WWII so there's that.

Curious how that would look in a 4 door. If all they capture is a part of the Jeep 2 door buyers Ford will never stick it out with a low volume production line
Like Wrangler I'm sure the great majority will be 4-door sales.

Looking at aftermarket parts and accessories for the Wrangler, there are often more available for the Unlimited than for the heritage 2-door; designed first for the U, etc. I don't expect the prospects for the Bronco to be much different in that regard.

Is this thing vaporware? Where the hell is the actual vehicle?

Tip for Ford: in order to even attempt to sell a vehicle, you must first actually produce said vehicle -- and for those who want to make a clever comment about pre-orders, you can't hold that money FOREVER - at some point consumers want their money back if an actual product does not materialize

Available in 2020. I agree Ford should have kept this secret a lot longer or launched at least a year earlier than planned. If it looks like the r&t rendering I am probably getting one even if it has ifs.

Basically looks like the old Escape which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. We don’t know if it is rear or front drive from that pic do we?

It looks like a nice, boxy alternative to the Escape. It should help lure young (young at heart) and adventurous buyers.
My sister had a '12 escape (boxy), Silver with black rims

I actually liked that look, so if they make it again, I'd look just to look

Good point. I could easily see Ford rehashing the Escape with different badging
