This is something I'd like to build for a dedicated trail rig actually. 80's crew cab with a shortened wheelbase I'd prefer axles from a 1 ton dually when using HMMWV wheels. But other than that it looks pretty good.Just spotted the All- New Ford bronco driving in cali. LOL
Even the Renegade looks kinda cool when you are looking at a white build.https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a29088768/ford-baby-bronco-rear-spied/
First picture of the “baby bronco” CUV that will be competing with the Cherokee... not gonna lie that looks pretty darn nice for a CUV.
Why make a baby bronco?? Real or busthttps://www.caranddriver.com/news/a29088768/ford-baby-bronco-rear-spied/

Why make a Cherokee, Compass, and Renegade? Most people don't need a Wrangler/Bronco level of capability, or can't afford it, and they know it.Why make a baby bronco?? Real or bust
True, didn't think of it that wayWhy make a Cherokee, Compass, and Renegade? Most people don't need a Wrangler/Bronco level of capability, or can't afford it, and they know it.
Just like Jeep sells more of those smaller units combined (and in some periods more Cherokees than Wranglers), Ford will probably sells lots of Mavericks and Couriers. Volume is profit, with narrow margins.
Look into re-gearing if you are running out of torqueI don't think any of these companies are truly trying to challenge the Wrangler. The bronco will be closer than the defender but it won't go all the way. Wish Jeep would offer the power Ford will and Land Rover already has so maybe this new competition will force them to
