Nope, I’m in a steady long-term relationship with my Jeep. I’ll look at the news feeds of the new Bronco and watch some YouTubers take them out, but no touching.

Heck yeah I will be checking out those Broncos! Love my JL but I've got a clutch on borrowed time that the dealer says is fine. It seems there is very little they will fix under warranty so an extended warranty won't help much. I've had much better luck with the Ford dealers. Fortunately, so far we are having good luck with our GC Trailhawk...

Absolutely! Especially now that a Wrangler with the 3.6 gas engine will only be available as an eTorque. Last thing I want is a hybrid vehicle to take on the trails. I tend to keep my rigs forever and I'll need proof all those hybrid complications will still be working 15 years from now.

My '06 Rubi has been a decent vehicle. But I feel like I've been beat to death on those days I put 250 miles in on dirt roads. This old carcass is ready for something that rides a little better. I'll leave the rock crawling to you youngsters!

I'm happy that the Wrangler is getting competition, but I don't plan on a Bronco (recovering Ford guy.) The reasons, not the least of which is, for at least the first year it's going to be a painful experience to obtain one (aka made of unobtaineum unless you're willing to shell out way too much money.) Then there's the fact that the special/upgraded models won't appear for a year or two, and "don't buy a first-model-year vehicle" aspect of things.

I was until they drug it out so long I couldn't wait any more. They lost me last year. I had nothing but Ford cars, Trucks and SUVs for over 20 years. Now there's 1 less Ford and 2 new Jeeps.
same here, cept we still have the F-150 to go along with the new Jeep.

I'm a Jeep and Ford fan, currently have a raptor and JLU. I am certainly interested in it but probably not interested in buying it as I have enough money into vehicles as it is. it does look pretty cool though and I loved the old broncos. I just think pricing is going to be too high but you never know.

Hell yes. Not just yes, but hell yes.
This guys statement speaks loudly to me. I don't know who he is, but he has made references to be under the Bronco information embargo. He must have factual data on the Bronco. Or I am a complete fool. LOL. I have been called worse.

No. My JL has been everything I could want and then some. If I was in the market for a new vehicle I would definitely give the Bronco a look/test drive to satisfy my curiosity between the two. Maybe that’ll happen down the line but not presently.

I was set on getting a 2021 Jeep (most likely Mojave if it comes out) but I really want the new UConnect system. I am on the road a ton and wireless carplay is a must (once you use it you cannot go back :). Since the 2021 will not have that, I am seriously considering the Bronco ( we will see Monday when it is revealed).

It wasn't intended as anything derogatory at all. I do appologize if it came across that way. The same statement could be said the a lot of women wrangler drivers are considering it for their husbands. The purpose of my statement was to imply that we as wrangler drivers ( sex not relevant) aren't willing to give up the wrangler for the Bronco but would consider adding it to the household no matter which sex you are.

I will be more careful with the way i word things moving forward thank you for calling me out!
i believe the gender-neutral term you are looking for is "spouse."

Although you could go the even more careful route of "partner."

Last I checked though, it's pretty commonplace to put forth a hyperbolic statement on a message board to give other's a good chuckle.

I do have the information, and I have read it probably a dozen times now working on the related articles. Monday will be a good day for all off-road enthusiasts.
