Has anyone seen these from C&D? It shows a patent for Ford for a fully removable roof (B, C and D pillars as well) for a 4 door SUV:

Plus, some strange roof mounted (?) airbag patent.
Ford has been sprinkling patents for all kinds of crazy stuff in the "news" for the last year or so. As has been pointed out, the cage of the Wrangler is removable too, but its a pain so no one bothers. If Ford makes one that is slightly more convenient, it will get pulled about as often as Wrangler owners drive around with windshields down.

My impression is that the removable cage isn’t necessarily to be able to drive without it, but to facilitate easy replacement and upgrade.

it will be interesting to see it when it comes out. if it looks like this one, i would get one in a 2 door, v6 / auto and in black or dark gray.

That's the best rendering of the 2 door I've seen so far.

Few mistakes. Door hinges aren't exposed. Mirrors on A-Pillar not door. And it seems doors are glass-only up top, no frame, though I'm not certain on the last point.

Otherwise, seems to be closer than just about anything else to the camo shots

You have posted this at least 3 times. We get it, you believe this is the new Bronco. There are a bunch of different renderings, and the actual prototypes are running around now. They don't look a lot like this one.

Well, to be fair...they just molded a bunch of shit onto the front half of a Raptor. I doubt this is anything like what gets produced.

I think the Bronco will sell well
No it won't people love Jeep
I think it needs a solid front axle
I like independent front suspension
Nobody will buy one since it can't rock crawl
Not many use their Jeep for rock crawling
Jeep has best aftermarket goodies
Ford is doing it right from factory, don't need aftermarket
I like Ford
I like Jeep
Ok then, glad we got that cleared up!
Yeah, there is a lot of that going on. Don't know what anyone else will do in their decision process but I put the purchase of a new ecodiesel model on hold until seeing what the Bronco will be. Having one Wrangler here already, and like it just fine, there is no hurry. It is good to have choices.

Don't ask you? Don't ask you what? Why it has solid axles? Or how you KNOW it's the body style?
