Looking to buy a battery tender

batteries in general doesnt last more than 4 years now. the 7+ yearlife span are gone. i'm looking to replace mine with optima because die hard have gone down the drain.

Interstate batteries easily last 7 plus years if taken care of. I've also heard great things about Odyssey batteries. Optimas have gone way down hill from 20 years ago.

too bad on the optimas but il'll look into the odyssey battery. i know theres a tread on the battery size, so just for a quick answer what is the largest size battery that will fit in the jl.

. My secondary battery was replaced in January, ESS worked for a day and then it stopped working. With COVID and all I just haven’t brought it in to get rechecked, but from what I read I will probably need another battery replacement.

This certainly isn’t giving me confidence for when the Jeep is out of warranty...

I know it’s been discussed at length on another thread but this sort of thing just shouldn’t be necessary on a brand new 40K+ vehicle.

I like the Battery minder with the full time desulphation pulses. I got over 12 years from the battery in my John Deere tractor using one. I also have the CTEK 4.3 which is nice but it only goes into desulphation mode after being in maintain mode for 10 days.
