I'm headed to the Black Hills over Memorial Weekend and am looking at hitting some trails. I am not looking at doing anything challenging as I am a new Jeep owner and this is the first trip. Just looking for suggestions from people who have been there and what trails offer a good first timer experience.

Thanks

Sorry can’t really offer any specific recommendations, but my advice is grab a MVUM from the forest service and go explore! Tons of FS roads and if they get too sketchy for your taste whip a U turn and keep on rocking
It’s a beautiful area and definitely hit up the burger joint in Custer! Have a fun trip!

I have rode ATV in the Black Hills of SD. We saw a ton of Jeeps when we were out riding..

Here is a map of the area we rode in. You can zoom in on the card on the map and get info. We spent 12 days there and rode everyday. It was a great time and there are plenty of trails that are easy for a Jeep. We were over by Deadwood. We camped here and had access to the trails from the campground. I would 100% go back and plan to. There is plenty of spots to boondock camp also.
